This is an excellent motor for your next robotics or motion control project. Pittman motors are heavy duty industrial motors built for years of reliable service. This motor has been tested and verified to be in good working condition. This motor is designed for use at 12 VDC, but we have found that it will run on as little as 4 VDC. The gearbox reduction is 19.7:1, which gives it a no-load output speed of 41.8 rpm at 19.1 VDC. The output shaft is stainless steel; it is 5/8†long and 1/4†in diameter. Series GM9000 Pittman's GM9400 Series spur gearmotors are available in two lengths and two models. Integrated Hewlett-Packard® optical encoders are available for reliable position, velocity, and direction feedback. All encoders feature rugged metal housings, 5-VDC operation, and TTL outputs.
