Oriental Koi Wall Scroll Koi are a beautiful and frequently used motif in Asian art. Because it struggles against the current of the river it has become the emblem of strength in perseverance. The image of two Koi swimming together is often used to symbolize a long & happy marriage. Done in a timeless watercolor style, the calligraphy character in the upper right corner of the picture is the symbol for happiness. 100% hand crafted, They are primitive style scrolls made with natural materials and go well with nearly any other decor. This wall scroll is Aprox 9 1/2 inches wide x 25 inches long while hanging, The center art portion is 7 x 19 inches by its self, The art is printed using dye inks on an exquisite Lokta fiber Paper, hand made in the Himalayan Mountains region of Nepal in a process that has remained unchanged for nearly 2000 years. The scroll is framed between 2 bamboo hangers with a dark sage colored silken hanger cord and 2 tassels. Each one is hand made and assembled by the artists here at Palace Productions Art Studio.
