Absolutely beautiful 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL with only 62,419 original Florida and Texas Miles. This is an incredible car and is in excellent shape- perfect for a surprise gift for Christmas. A rare find, this classic is black on black (original seats) with a well made and matching after market backseat with belts welded to the frame. Its gets looks wherever we drive it, valets park it in front for all to admire, and so much fun to drive. This 560SL has been lovingly garaged and cared for. We have owned it since 2003 and have put less than 10,000 miles on the car in the last five years. The car had a new exhaust system installed in Aug 2008 as well as the air conditioner recharged, great tires and routine maintenance. Both tops are original and in great shape. Heat and A/C work great, original owners manual included. The original brakes are due to be replaced and the price of the car reflects that ($500.00). The interior is in excellent shape. The soft top has no rips or tears. There is a slight tear in the lining of the hard top (picture included-approx 3/4 inch in length). The original dash needs repair- or an overlay, age (and probably Florida sun) caused cracks. The price of the car also reflects a $300 discount to purchase an overlay of the buyers choice, or to repair the original. All the gages and dials (even the clock) work perfectly. This is a iconic example of German engineering, less than 6000 of these rolled off the assembly line in 1989. This fabulous convertible, a true classic has meticulously cared for in every way, there are no body flaws. Its a gleaming example of the famous 560SL in the most classic color combination made.Mercedes Benz maintained this body style from 1970 through 1989. The 1989 Model Year was the last year these highly sought after collectible roadsters were produced. From a collector standpoint the 1989 560SL is the one to own, and the one with the best maintenance record. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auctions close. This will hold the car up to 7 days while you gather your funds or finalize your financing. Any financing arrangements are strictly between you and the lender and do not impact your contract to purchase the vehicle. The deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or if you cannot obtain financing on the vehicle. Should you need us to hold the car beyond the week, we ask for an additional non-refundable deposit of $1,000 and will hold the vehicle for up to two weeks.
