Insurance is optional but recommended, as trees and pots are fragile and can be damaged even when packed as well as we pack them. Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax. Larger items or multiple items will be shipped UPS or Fedex Home Delivery. For trees, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so the trees don’t sit at a transfer station over the weekend.) Pots are shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Combined Shipping Discounts: We can often combine shipping on Plants and Pots, but large bonsai will have to ship alone in a box unless the second bonsai or pot is relatively small. Combined shipping is usually full price on the more expensive item, then half price on all additional items. Outside of the continental US (Alaska, PR, Hawaii), you’ll need to email for a shipping quote. No international sales! Damage: Despite our best efforts at packing, on rare occasions a pot gets broken or a tree damaged (our theory is that the shippers hire gorillas to handle packages!). If you purchased insurance we will replace the tree or refund your payment, including shipping. If no insurance was purchased, we can't replace or refund, as we have no control over how the trees are handled while they're in transit. Please do not ship a tree back without contacting us first, or have the shipping company pick it up for inspection, as it will virtually guarantee the tree's death. Dead Plants: Some trees don't always ship very well, especially bougainvillea, wisteria, and myrtles, which may experience yellowing and/or leaf drop. Please give them 2-4 weeks to recover--usually they will bud out and recover completely. If your plant doesn't recover, let us know and will we refund or replace your plant. Returns: If are not happy with your item please let us know as soon as possible. Email us before you return an item so we can give you instructions.
